Title : A whole week of free time

Dear all,

Isn't it wonderful to have this whole week to do whatever you want? For those of you who have been missing on your favourite shows, computer games, talking on the phone and going out with friends, this is the time to 'catch up' with all the things that you enjoy doing. I often looked forward to the time after exams (though my mother never let me go out with my friends) when I was a student and that was my main motivation whenever I studied like MAD to prepare for it.

Jit Tuey told me the other day in school that after being so 'crazily' busy with PSLE preparation, it felt a little strange and boring to be so 'free' suddenly. Well, I agree with him. It's like this sudden feeling of emptying all your burdens of PSLE and being able to run and jump freely.

But...let me remind you that PSLE is just start of the many major exams that you will have to face later on in life. So, in future whenever you get weary and tired while studying for your exams, I hope that you will remember the time that you will get to enjoy after that. Just like what you are doing now. To taste sweetness, you have to go through some bitterness or hardship first.

Enjoy this 'school-free' week and I'll be missing all of you while I go for the marking exercise.
